Holy Trinity Cathedral – built in the beginning of 1940s is famous for its unique stone architecture, beautiful window glass works,  and being a burial ground of Ethiopia’s public figures including Emperor Haile Sillassie I.

-  Merkato market – this busy market is Africa’s biggest outdoor market. Spice Market, handwoven basket market, second-hand items market, Chat market, and the recycling section are worth visiting

Ethnographic Museum – Now serving as the Library of the Ethiopian Language Studies Institute and Ethnographic Museum was Emperor Haile Sillassie residence. It is great museum to general information of Ethiopia.

Shiro Meda local market – Located on the way to Mount Entoto, this is a nice market to get locally hand woven traditional cotton clothes, and different small gift items
Zoma Museum - is one best place to visit in Addis Ababa. It is notable for the artistically hand made mud walls.
